DESCRIPTION:  For newer Presario models, this Softpaq contains the original modem 
drivers for the Compaq PC-Tel HSP56 MicroModem shipped with the computer.  For these 
models, this SoftPaq contains no enhancements and is being provided only for 
customer convenience or for advanced users.  

For older Presario models, this SoftPaq contains an improved driver with the 
enhancements listed below.

Enhancements/Fixes:
 - Adds diagnostics improvement.
 - Disables block interrupt when transferring data in Full Duplex.
 - Improves connect rate for ISP's that use "Nortel" head-ends.

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq file SP14778.EXE to a directory on your hard drive.

2. Save your documents and exit your applications. You will be required to restart
   your computer.

3. Execute SP14778.EXE.
