DESCRIPTION:  This creates a diskette that allows a user to upgrade the System ROM on an LTE 5000 to a version P54B System ROM (15 Dec 1995)

ROM UPDATES:
* Added code to reset cable select IDE hardware to defaults so that on warm boot the hard drive detect code adjusts for hardware already in swap state.
* Added code to return to the LCD if external monitor is unplugged while in suspend while in 1024x768 graphics mode.  
* Updated version number to support suspend to disk with memory > 64Mb.
* Added Save/Restore of COM3 and COM4.  Previously only COM1 and COM2 were being saved/restored on a Suspend/Resume. 
*Added support to disable the IRQ's for each of the COM ports.  The ports are restored by Resume.
* Fixed ballpoint mouse Save/Restore to stop Microsoft trackball cursor from jumping to left side in Windows 95 after Suspend/Resume.
* Added support for Logitech wireless PS/2 mouse.

HOW TO USE:

1.  Obtain a formatted 1.44 MB diskette.

2.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is SP1455.EXE.

3.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:
    SP1455 [ENTER] 
You will be prompted to place the formatted 1.44 MB diskette into a diskette drive to create the diskette.

4.  After the diskette is created, you may delete the downloaded file SP1455.EXE if you wish.

5.  Power down the computer.

6.  Place the newly created Compaq LTE 5000 ROMPaq Diskette in Drive A: and power up the computer.

IMPORTANT: DO NOT TURN OFF POWER TO THE SYSTEM WHILE PERFORMING THIS PROCEDURE!
