• Compaq Projector Presentation Utility is an application that is intended for use with
• Compaq Microportable Projectors. The primary purpose of the application is to prevent
• the Microsoft OS (Operating System) from going into power saving modes such as
• Standby/Suspend and Screen Saver/Blanking. In addition, this utility provides a convenient
• way for Users to perform screen resolution modifications.

[Silent installation instructions]
    1. Run the SoftPaq file, SP14517A.exe, in a temporary directory.

    2. The Setup program will copy into the
        "C:\Compaq\Projector PresentationUtility\Setup\Present" folder
         on your "C:\" hard disk.

    3. Follow the on-screen instructions. Once installation has completed,
       refer to the README.TXT file in the "C:\Compaq\Projector Presentation Utility"
       folder for instructions on how to use the software.

DESCRIPTION:  This contains the Compaq Projector Presentation Utility, an application 
that is intended for use with Compaq Microportable Projectors. The primary purpose of

ENHANCEMENTS/FIXES:  
 - Changed naming scheme to be more generic.  Replaced "MP1600" text
   references with "Projector" in order to accommodate future products.
 - Changed download directory names.
 - Includes support for Compaq MP2800 Microportable Projector.

HOW TO USE:

1.  Download the SoftPaq to a temporary, empty directory on your
    hard drive and change to that directory.  The file downloaded
    is a self-extracting executable with a filename based on the
    SoftPaq Number above.
    
2.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file.

3.  The Utility will notify you when the update is finished.

    CAUTION:  DO NOT TURN OFF YOUR COMPUTER OR PROJECTOR DURING THE UPDATE PROCESS


4.  Shutdown and connect the projector to your computer.

5.  Power on projector and then power on computer.
