DESCRIPTION:  This softpaq will create the OS/2 Support Software Diskette for Compaq Version 2.05 Rev A.  For complete information on changes and enhancements to the OS/2 2.x Support Software Diskette, see WHATSNEW.RDM on the generated diskette. 
New Features:
- DOS driver for the NetFlex-3/P and NetFlex-3/E network controllers. This driver supports 10Base-T, 100Base-TX, and 100Base-VG modules.
- A new OS/2 CD-ROM Installation Setup Utility for OS/2 2.x and later, to automate the process of updating OS/2 Installation Diskette 1 with Compaq-specific SCSI drivers.
Updates:
- The OS2APIC.PSD driver has been updated to support ProLiant 1500 servers with the FlexSMP 5/133 Dual Processor Board running OS/2 SMP 2.11.
- The Integrated NetFlex-L ENET driver, PCNTND.OS2 has been updated to fix a potential problem that                        causes the system to lock up on a warm boot.

HOW TO USE:  

1.  Download the SoftPaq to an empty directory on your hard drive and change to that directory.  If downloaded in zipped format (.ZIP), unzip the file to create an executable:  PKUNZIP SP1451

2.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:  SP1451 [ENTER]
The following files should be created: 
QRST5.EXE
181499US._01
SP1451.RDM

3.  Obtain a formatted 1.44 MB diskette.

4. To create the diskette, run QRST5 and follow the on-screen instructions.

5.  After the diskette is created, you may delete the downloaded file SP1451.EXE and the other files created on your hard drive if you wish.
