DESCRIPTION:  This creates a diskette containing the Windows 3.1 Monitor Control Utility for the S3 Trio 64V+ video controller on the Presario 5500 and 9500 Families.  Do NOT use this with the Presario 7100 Family.  Do NOT use this on systems running Windows 95.  Also download Softpaq 1417 for Windows 3.1 systems.  It contains the Presario 5500/9500 Windows 3.1 video drivers.

HOW TO USE:

1.  Obtain 1 formatted 1.44 MB diskette.

2.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is SP1440.EXE.

3.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:
    SP1440 [ENTER]
You will be prompted to place the formatted 1.44 MB diskette into a diskette drive to create the diskette.

4.  After the diskette is created, you may delete the downloaded file SP1440.EXE if you wish.

5.  Insert the diskett into the A: drive.  From Program Manager, select File, Run....

6.  Enter A:\SETUP and select OK.

7.  Follow the on-screen installation instructions.
