DESCRIPTION:  This Softpaq contains Compaq Power Management Agents
              Version 1.80 for use with Compaq UPS and Netware.

              Known Issues Addressed in this release:
                         
              1. Version 1.70 of CPM for Netware failed to load in
                 Netware 3.x environments. This version corrects that
                 anomaly.

              Other Changes:

              1. UPSBASE.NLM for use with standalone systems ie. the
                 file in the \stndalon subdirectory of the diskette has
                 been incorrectly labeled as version 4.15. Please ignore
                 this. The correct version of this file is 1.80.

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a temporary, empty directory on your 
hard drive.  The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable 
with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.

2. From the download directory, execute the SoftPaq.  When executed,
it will  build a 1.44MB floppy diskette containing the CPQCPM Agents.

3. To install on a Netware server, type the following at the console
prompt :

LOAD A:CPMSETUP

with the floppy inserted in the A: drive of the server. Follow the
onscreen instructions to install CPQCPM.
