DESCRIPTION:  This SoftPaq unpacks the files required to install the Compaq Cluster Verification Utility (CCVU). The CCVU aids in the setup of a Compaq ProLiant cluster as a tool for checking system prerequisites and configuration before starting the cluster.  On Microsoft Windows 2000 Datacenter Server, this version supports the HA/F500 Basic and HA/F500 Enhanced cluster models only.  On Microsoft Windows Advanced Server and NT v.4.0 Server, Enterprise Edition, this CCVU version supports cluster models HA/F100, HA/F200, HA/F500 Basic, HA/F500 Enhanced, and the CL1850/CL380.  The HA/F500 Enhanced DT cluster kit is only supported on Windows NT 4.0 Server, Enterprise Edition.

ENHANCEMENTS/FIXES:
This CCVU v.4.0 adds support for Windows 2000 Advanced Server to the HA/F200 cluster model kit, and support for Windows 2000 Datacenter Server to the HA/F500 Basic and Enhanced kits.  Several recently released ProLiant servers are also supported. 

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.

2. From the download directory, click on or execute the SoftPaq.  When executed with no parameters, files are extracted into the current directory. To extract the files into a different directory, specify the complete path of the directory as a parameter:

    SP14364 <path>

Press the "Space Bar" to move through the installation screens until you are asked to enter "Y" to confirm, and then the files are unpacked into the download directory or the directory specified.
