DESCRIPTION:  This intermediate release provides an updated system ROM image for just the ProLiant 1500.  It fixes a problem in which incorrect bank values were being logged in the Wellness log for correctable and uncorrectable memory failures which occur in the last megabyte of bank 7.

SUPERSEDES: None.

HOW TO USE:

1.  Obtain a formatted 1.44 MB diskette.

2.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is SP1435.EXE.

3.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:
SP1435 [ENTER]
You will be prompted to place the formatted 1.44 MB diskette into a diskette drive to create the ROMPaq diskette.

4.  After the diskette is created, you may delete the downloaded file SP1435.EXE if you wish.

5.  Follow the instructions in the README.TXT file on the ROMPaq diskette to upgrade the system ROM.  You may start the upgrade process by turning off the computer, placing the RomPaq diskette in drive A: and powering up the computer.  DO NOT TURN OFF THE COMPUTER DURING THE UPGRADE PROCESS!
