DESCRIPTION: This creates a diskette that allows a user to upgrade the System ROM on a DeskPro XL to a 05 Oct 1995 System ROM.
Updates:
*Added expanded Matrox-specific support for the DeskPro XL product family.
*Qvision 2000 now employs the Matrox warm boot fix along with QVision 1280P.

HOW TO USE:

1.  Obtain a formatted 1.44 MB diskette.

2.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is SP1432.EXE.

3.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:
    SP1432 [ENTER] 
You will be prompted to place the formatted 1.44 MB diskette into a diskette drive to create the diskette.

4.  After the diskette is created, you may delete the downloaded file SP1432.EXE if you wish.

5.  Power down the desktop machine.

6.  Place the newly created Compaq DeskPro XL ROMPaq Diskette in Drive A: and power up the desktop unit.

IMPORTANT: DO NOT TURN OFF POWER TO THE SYSTEM WHILE PERFORMING THIS PROCEDURE!
