DESCRIPTION:
Creates the Support Software for Novell Products (NSSD). NSSD contains
NetWare and intraNetWare drivers, NetWare Loadable Modules (NLMs), and
support information to optimize the performance of NetWare and intraNetWare
on Compaq servers. This software enhances the performance of Compaq options
such as Compaq Drive Array controllers, Compaq 32-Bit SCSI-2 controllers, and
Compaq CD-ROM drives.

Enhancements/Fixes in Version 6.10 Rev A:

This release of the Support Software for Novell Products (NSSD) primarily
supports the following new products:

   - Compaq Smart Array 5300 

The following Compaq drivers were updated:

CPQFC.HAM Version 2.42 - NSSD 6.10
- Added support for multi-path NetWare Cluster Services on Entry Level 
  SAN configurations.
- Added support for multiple Compaq Fibre Channel Modular Data Routers on
  the same loop.

CPQHLTH.NLM Version 4.33 - NSSD 6.10
- Added support for ProLiant ML350 1GHz.
- Added code to reset original ROM settings for the Temperature and Fan
  Interface after health driver unloads.

CPQIML.NLM Version 1.07 - NSSD 6.10A
- Modified reading of IML to better protect against corrupt IML records.

CPQONLIN.NLM Version 2.46 - NSSD 6.10
- Fixed problem in the Selective Storage Presentation code when there are
  a large number of logical drives and fibre channel devices in a system.

CPQRAID.HAM Version 1.00 - NSSD 6.10A
- Added support for the Compaq Smart Array 5300

CPQSHD.CDM Version 1.35 - NSSD 6.10A
- Added support for logical drives larger than 502 GB.

HOW TO USE:

 1. Download the SoftPaq into a directory and change to that
    directory.  The file that is downloaded is an executable with
    a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.

 2. From that drive and directory, execute the downloaded file
    and follow the on-screen instructions.  The following files will be
    in that directory:
      212221US._01
      212221US._02
      212221US._03
      212221US._04
      212221US._05
      212221US._06
      212221US._07
      212221US._08
      qrst5.exe

 3. Type QRST5 to run the diskette builder program. You will have the option
    of creating all NSSD diskettes or selecting individual diskettes to
    create. Once you make a selection, you will be prompted to insert
    diskettes accordingly.

 4. After the diskettes have been created, you may delete the downloaded
    SoftPaq file and the other files created in step 2.

 5. For installation instructions, refer to INSTALL.RDM (ASCII text file)
    of NSSD.HLP (Windows Help file) on diskette 2.
