DESCRIPTION: This SoftPaq contains the ATI Rage IIC Video Controller Driver
for Microsoft Windows NT 4.0
New Features: N/A
Problems Fixed:
1. The Remote Insight Board Lights-Out Edition may be affected by video corruption
of the server console or by mouse synchronization problems in remote console mode.
In remote console mode, the local mouse cursor may not synchronize with the remote
mouse cursor. If the local cursor does synchronize with the remote cursor, the cursors
may not stay synchronized very long. Some video corruption of the remote console
may also be seen. At the server console, video corruption may be seen in the form
of corruption of the mouse cursor itself, video "noise", corruption of individual
pixels, etc. Systems with Micron SDRAM may be affected due to a bug in the ATI video
driver.
2. If you have installed a Rage IIC video driver from a source other than
Microsoft or Compaq, your server and/or Remote Insight Lights-Out Edition may
lock up during a video mode change.
As a solution, upgrade Compaq ATI Rage IIC Video Controller Driver for
Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 to version 4.00.1381.3254, which is available as a SoftPaq (SP14294).
