DESCRIPTION: 
The Compaq Console Switch Box firmware update is designed to upgrade the 
firmware of the following Compaq Console Switch Boxes to v1.3.0.
    - 400336-XXX 4 port console switch box
    - 400337-XXX 8 port console switch box
    - 400338-XXX Dual 8 port console switch box

Enhancements/Fixes:
The following issues have been resolved with 1.3.0:
    1) Scan exits inconsistently (All)
    2) Enter key locks keyboard after VMS shutdown (VMS)
    3) Arrrow keys not working, after using editor (Alpha)
    4) Repeated space character when system idle (OpenVMS)
    5) Multiple keystroke occurs during blank and idle (OpenVMS)
    6) Slave switch showing tiered port numbers (Alpha)
    7) Extended scan causes loss of switching to slave systems (Alpha)
    8) Unable to access slave OSD with VMS (Alpha)
    9) Loses keyboard functionality after scan with VMS (Alpha)
    10) Print screen toggles between OSD inconsistently (Alpha)
    11) Function keys displays characters instead of functions (Alpha, OVMS)
    12) Screen saver set to 5 minutes or greater does not work (All)
    13) Losing mouse and keyboard after switching (ProLiant 1850R)

HOW TO USE

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive.
The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename 
based on the SoftPaq Number above.

2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions. 
Enter "Y" to confirm the unpacking of files into the download directory. 

3. After the files have been unpacked, you may delete the self-extracting file 
downloaded in step 1.

4. For installation instructions, 
please refer to README.TXT in the created directory.

5. After the installation is completed, you may delete the files unpacked in step 2.
