DESCRIPTION: This SoftPaq is for Japanese products, and cannot be run in United States mode. This utility corrects a performance issue when using the Microsoft Windows NT Backup application and a Compaq 10/20 DLT tape drive.  It changes the blocking factor on the tape to a size of 8K.

HOW TO USE:

1.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is SP1412.EXE.

2.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:
    SP1412 [ENTER]
    The following files will be created:
       SP1412.TXT
       DLT8KBLK.EXE
       README.TXT

3.  After the files are created, you may delete the downloaded file SP1412.EXE if you wish.

4.  Copy DLT8KBLK.EXE to your fixed disk drive and execute.
