DESCRIPTION:  This creates a ROMPaq firmware diskette that can be used to restore or 
upgrade the System ROM in the Professional Workstations SP750 and AP550 with a 686J4 
Family ROM.  

The ROM Family and ROM date can be determined by running F10 Setup. 

A unique feature of the ROM is one that allows the user to select the language used in
F10 Setup.  The user may choose between Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, 
Italian, Japanese, Norwegian, Portuguese, Spanish, or Swedish.  Please note however, that 
the user sees the chosen language only in F10 Setup, not in the operating system.

 
Enhancements/Fixes: 

- Corrects a condition that was not allowing the Targa 3000 video solution to be 
  configured properly.
- Corrects a condition that was not allowing the system to boot from a floppy disk if
  an LS-120 drive was configured as the primary floppy device.
- Corrects a condition that was not allowing DPT Array controllers and embedded SCSI 
  and IDE solutions to interact properly.
- Added support for Intel Zeon processor stepping change A1.


HOW TO USE:

1. Obtain a formatted 1.44-MB diskette.

2. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change 
to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is an executable with 
a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.

3. From that drive and directory, execute the downloaded file 
and follow the on-screen instructions.  

4. After the diskette has been created, you may delete the  
SoftPaq file downloaded in step 2.

5. Keeping the newly created diskette in the A: drive, cycle 
system power to boot from the ROMPaq diskette.

6. Follow the on-screen instructions to select the v2.13
Compaq System ROM and flash the firmware.
