DESCRIPTION:  Contains a keyboard controller ROM update for use with Compaq 
Notebook 100 Series portable computers only.

NOTE:  This utility does not update the system BIOS ROM.  Download and apply 
the latest "Compaq Notebook 100 System BIOS Update" in order to complete 
your system update.

Enhancements/Fixes:
 - Fixes trip point parameter passing from the OS to BIOS to correctly invoke 
   standby or hibernation alarms.

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive.
The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename 
based on the SoftPaq Number above.

2. Obtain a blank formatted floppy diskette and put the diskette into
drive A:. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen
instructions. 
 
3. Enter "Y" to confirm the unpacking of files into the download
directory on the diskette. After the files have been unpacked, the
SoftPaq utility will create a bootable floppy diskette.

4. Installation instructions: 
  a. Connect the unit to AC power
  b. Place the diskette in drive a:
  c. Boot the system and follow the instructions.
  d. Remove the diskette and restart the system after system shuts down.
