SYSTEM CONFIGURATION: Presario 9500 series computers which were upgraded
                      to Windows 95 using the Desktop Supplemental
                      Diskette version 1.00.

DESCRIPTION:

          This Softpaq modifies the Windows 95 Registry to enable Display
          Data Channel, or DDC on Presario 9500 series computers. This
          option is disabled by Microsoft, but can be enabled so that
          the Presario 1400 and Presario 1500 monitors are automatically
          detected when Windows 95 is started.

HOW TO USE:

To use this SoftPaq, start a DOS window under Windows 95 and follow
these instructions:

1. Create a temporary directory on your fixed disk as follows:

        MD C:\SP1373

2. Copy SP1373.EXE to this new directory:

        COPY SP1373.EXE C:\SP1373

3. Run SP1370:

        C:
        CD \SP1373
        SP1373

4. Run Registry Update batch file:

        REGUP.BAT

5. After RegUp has completed, you may delete the temporary directory:

        DEL \SP1373\*.*
        CD \
        RD \SP1373

6. Close the DOS window, Use the ShutDown command on the Start menu
   to restart Windows.
