 - PC Card may not function under DOS when restarting to DOS from Windows.
 - Numbers placed at end of sentence in Notepad when resuming from standby
w/USB keyboard or unit sporadically dings when returning from standby.
 - Password on Boot (originally set in F10 Setup) not requested when returning
    from Hibernation.
 - System is slow to recover after resume from hibernation without a battery.
 - Windows 2000 only: Intel SpeedStep cannot switch modes after resume from
    LB2 hibernation.

 HOW TO USE:

1. Format a 1.44-MB diskette.

2. Download the SoftPaq to a temporary, empty directory on your
hard drive and change to that directory. The file downloaded
is a self-extracting executable with a filename based on the
    SoftPaq Number above.

3. From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file.
You will be prompted to place the formatted 1.44 MB diskette
into a diskette drive to create the ROMPaq diskette.

4. After the diskette is created, you may delete the downloaded
    file if you wish.

5. Shutdown and turn off the computer. Wait 15 seconds. Place the
ROMPaq diskette into drive A: and turn on the power, allowing the
computer to boot from the diskette.

6. The ROMPaq diskette will automatically update the System ROM and
notify you when the update is finished.

CAUTION: DO NOT TURN OFF YOUR COMPUTER DURING THE UPDATE PROCESS

7. When the ROM update is finished, you will need to turn the computer
off and back on for the changes to be in effect. Remove the ROMPaq
diskette from the computer. Turn the computer's power switch OFF,
wait 15 seconds, then turn the switch ON again.

8. On the first boot after the update you will see this message:
    ERROR
0251: System CMOS checksum bad - Default configuration used
This is expected, since CMOS was set to a default state during the update.
Press the "F1" key to boot the system. You will not see this message on
    subsequent boots.
