DESCRIPTION:  This SoftPaq for the Presario EZ2200 and EZ2700 contains a fix for 
the USB hub termination difficulties during the shutdown process and also the 
Windows 98 SE Shutdown Supplement.

USB Hub Termination - In the previous version, RC4, the uninstall program removed the 
kbd hub first and then reenumerated it. In this version, RC5, the uninstall program 
simply restores the driver for the kbd hub.  This update/restore driver action takes
around 30-90 seconds.

Windows 98 Second Edition Shutdown Supplement - This addresses shutdown issues
on systems running Windows 98 Second Edition with certain hardware/software 
configurations. These issues include the computer restarting or locking up when 
Shutdown is selected.

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive.
The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename
based on the SoftPaq Number above.  It will automatically install
the driver on your PC.

2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions.
Click on "OK" to confirm that you want to install the driver.

3. Read the Licensing Agreement and click on "I Agree".

4. Click on "Reboot Now" to restart the computer.
