DESCRIPTION:  This creates a diskette which contains the Compaq Upgrade Utility for Windows 95, which installs necessary drivers that did not ship with Windows 95 and all Compaq utilities that have been updated for Windows 95.  In addition, it performs the Tabworks conversion utility if required for the Deskpro XL.  For a detailed list of the functions performed by the upgrade utility, refer to SP1334.DOC on the created diskette.

HOW TO USE

1. Obtain one (1) formatted 1.44MB diskette and place it in one of your diskette drives.

2. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory.  The file downloaded to your hard drive is SP1334.EXE.

3. Execute the SoftPaq file to create the diskette:
   SP1334 [ENTER]

4. After the diskette is created, you may delete the downloaded file SP1334.EXE if you wish.

5. Read the README.1ST file contained on this diskette prior to installing the software.

6. Start the installation process by running CPQUPG as follows:
From Windows 3.1 Program Manager, select File, Run, and enter CPQUPG.
From Windows 95, select Start, Run, and enter CPQUPG.

7. Read the README.TXT file created on your hard drive after completing the installation.
