DESCRIPTION:  This SoftPaq contains Version 1.2 of the Compaq 
CR3500 Array Configuration Utility.  This utility provides support 
for array configuration on the Compaq ProLiant CL1850 and Compaq
ProLiant CL380.

Enhancements/Fixes:  The following fixes have been made to this 
version of CR3500 Array Configuration Utility:
     
1. Improved application error handling.

2. Enabling write back cache by hitting the APPLY button and then
   OK button works properly.

3. Performing the Locate command on a single physical drive as 
   well as on RAID sets with more than 4 hard drives works
   properly.

4. Added informational dialogue boxes.

5. Once a RAID set reconstruction has started, the options on the controller
   property page cannot be changed.

6. Improved LUN mapping functionality.

7. Added support for German NT 4.0.

8. The "Save Configuration" command now adds the extension, 
   "cfg" to the file name being requested.

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive.  The SoftPaq 
   file that is downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a file
   name based on the SoftPaq number above.

2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions.
   Press the Y key to confirm the unpacking of the files into the
   download directory.
	
3. After the files have been unpacked, you may delete the  
   self-extracting file downloaded in step 1.

4. From the directory in which the files are unpacked, execute the
   setup.exe file to install the CR3500 Array Configuration Utility.

5. After the installation is completed, you may delete the files
   unpacked in step 2.
