DESCRIPTION:  Creates two diskettes containing Compaq Storage
Agents - UnixWare 7, Version 4.80a.

ENHANCEMENTS/FIXES:

    -  Added support for Compaq RAID LC2 Controller.
    -  Added support for Compaq Tape Array 1000.
    -  Enhanced the storage traps for easy serviceability.
    -  Fixed the problem related to SmartStart installation. The
       agents will not prompt for user inputs during SmartStart
       installation.
    -  Added support for Compaq Smart Array 5300 Controller.

IMPORTANT:  During installation, any incompatible or older version package
found on the system will be prompted to the user for removal and upon users
input will be removed before installing this package.

HOW TO USE:

Steps 1-5 are performed under DOS, Microsoft Windows 3.1, Windows95
or Windows NT.
Steps 6-11 are performed under SCO UnixWare 7.

1. Obtain two formatted 1.44-MB diskettes.

2. Download the SoftPaq to a clean directory on your hard drive and change
   to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is an executable with
   a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.

3. From that drive and directory, execute the downloaded file
   and follow the on-screen instructions. Four files will be created:
   SP13128.TXT, SP13128._01, SP13128._02 and QRST5.EXE.

4. Execute QRST5.EXE and you will be prompted to insert the formatted
   diskette in a drive to create the diskettes containing Compaq Storage
   Agents - UnixWare 7.

5. After the diskettes have been created, you may delete the
   SoftPaq file downloaded in step 2 and the files unpacked in step 3.

6. To install the Compaq Storage Agents - UnixWare 7,
   log in as "root."

7. Goto some temporary empty directory for example /tmp/sp13128 to
   download the files from the floppy. 

8. Insert the newly created diskette into the SCO default diskette
   drive and execute the following command:

      # tar xv
 
9. After executing above command, you will find 2 files created in the  
    /tmp/sp13128 directory. The files are cmastor.tar and inststor.
    Execute the following command to install the Compaq Storage Agents.

       # sh ./inststor

    Follow the on-screen instructions.

10. Remove the diskette. Remove all the temporary files. Execute the
    following commands.

       # cd /
       # rm -rf /tmp/sp13128

11. Restart the server to complete the installation.
