DESCRIPTION:
Unpacks the files needed to create a bootable Compaq Server
Diagnostics diskette, which supports ALL currently shipping Systems Division  
server products.  It is installed on the Diagnostics Partition for those
systems which support it and have hard drives.  It is shipped as a
diskette on all other products.
A Compaq Server Diagnostics diskette contains programs that can perform the 
following tasks on Compaq Systems Division server products:
 - TEST 
 - INSPECT (display machine config) 


Enhancements/fixes:
 - Added support for 933 MHz processor upgrades to
   ProLiant ML350, ML370, ML530, and DL380.
 - Added support for processor upgrades to ProLiant DL360, ML330.
 - Added support for new 40X CD-ROM drives.
 - Added ECC fault isolation support on ProLiant ML330, ML350,
   ML570, DL360, DL380.
 - Added support for 4GB of memory on ProLiant ML570, DL360, DL380, and DL580.
 - Added processor upgrade verification for ProLiant 8000 and 8500.
 - Fixed false failures during processor testing on ProLiant 8000 and
   8500 units with multiple processors running in non-APIC mode.

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive.
The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename 
based on the SoftPaq Number above.

2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions. 
Entering "Y" to confirm the unpacking of files creates a new directory 
folder in the download directory.  All files are unpacked into this 
newly created directory.

3. To create the Diagnostics diskette, run MAKEDISK.BAT and 
follow on-screen instructions.

4. After the Diagnostic diskette has been created, you may delete the  
self-extracting file downloaded in step 1, as well as the directory
folder and files created in step 2.

5. Power down the system.

6. Place the newly created Diagnostics diskette in Drive A:, and 
power up the system.
