DESCRIPTION:  The Windows online help file (SPDPQ192.HLP) for the SpeedPaq 192 Fax Modem has been revised to include information on new Enhanced Throughput Cellular (ETC), cellular phone support, and new defaults.  Changes were made to registers S96 and S101, cellular command $I, and AT& commands &C1 and &D2.

HOW TO USE:

1.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is SP1308.EXE.

2.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:
SP1308 [ENTER]
The following files should be created:
SPDPQ192.HL_
BOOKWRM1.IC_
CPQINST.INF
SP1308.TX_ 
SETUP.EXE

3. To install the updated help file into the C:\WINDOWS\CPQWIN subdirectory, and place a User's Guide icon in the Compaq SpeedPaq 192 Fax Modem group box, run setup from within Windows, as follows:

   a) From the Windows 3.1 Program Manager, select File, Run
   b) Run the setup command using the full pathname of the drive and directory where the downloaded files
       reside.  Example:  C:\DOWNLOAD\SETUP
