DESCRIPTION: This Softpaq creates the ROMPaq Firmware Upgrade Diskette version 7/18/95 for Compaq ProLiant 2000 and 4000 Servers.  On rack mount systems with multiple processors sharing a mouse and keyboard through a switch box, this corrects the situation where the system sometimes locks up during warmboot or operating system reset.

HOW TO USE:  

1.  After downloading the SoftPaq, copy it to an empty directory on your hard drive and change to that directory.  If downloaded in zipped format (.ZIP), unzip the file to create an executable:  PKUNZIP SP1305

2.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file to unbind the primary files:  SP1305 [ENTER]

ROMPAQ._01
SP1305.DOC
README.TXT

3. Obtain a formatted 1.44 MB 3.5 inch diskette.

4. Follow the instructions in README.TXT to create the diskette and upgrade the system ROM.
