DESCRIPTION:  This SoftPaq unpacks the files required to install the Compaq Redundancy Manager 1.10.

ENHANCEMENTS/FIXES:
This Redundancy Manager 1.10 adds support for Comapq StorageWorks RA4000/RA4100 based SAN solution.

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.

2. From the download directory, click on or execute the SoftPaq.  When executed with no parameters, files are extracted into the current directory. To extract the files into a different directory, specify the complete path of the directory as a parameter:

    SP12984 <path>

Press the "Space Bar" to move through the installation screens until you are asked to enter "Y" to confirm, and then the files are unpacked into the download directory or the directory specified.  

The following files will be extracted:

\<windows directory>/system32/drivers
cpqFcVa.sys
INSTALL.cmd
ReleaseNotes.doc

3. After the files have been created, you may delete the self-extracting file downloaded in step 1.

4. From the directory in which the files are created, execute the self-extracting executable by selecting:

    INSTALL.CMD [ENTER]
