DESCRIPTION:   This Softpaq creates the ROMPaq Firmware Upgrade Diskette version 6/23/95 for Compaq ProLiant 4500 Servers.  On systems with multiple processors and Smart SCSI Array controllers, this corrects the situation where it sometimes takes a minute or more to reset when exiting Windows NT using the "System Reset and Restart" menu option. 

HOW TO USE:  

1.  Download the SoftPaq to an empty directory on your hard drive and change to that directory.  If downloaded in zipped format (.ZIP), unzip the file to create an executable:  PKUNZIP SP1298

2.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file to unbind the primary files:  SP1298 [ENTER]
The following files should be created: 
QRST5.EXE
ROMPAQ._01
README.TXT

3. Obtain a formatted 1.44 MB 3.5 inch diskette.

4. Follow the instructions in README.TXT to create the diskette and upgrade the system ROM.
