DESCRIPTION:  This Softpaq contains Compaq Power Management Agents
              Version 1.70 for use with Compaq UPS and Netware.

              Known Issues Addressed in this release:

              1. When running Netware 5 with multi processor
                 support loaded, the UPS would occasionally
                 lose communication with the UPS.

              2. When running Netware 5 with multi processor
                 support loaded, the console would display
                 Spurious Interrupt messages

              3. When loading UPSBASE.NLM and ABEND would occur
                 if this was done on a date with a 2 digit month,
                 (ie. Oct - Dec) and the time of the load was between
                 10 - 12 o'clock.

              Other Changes:

              1. AIOCOMX.NLM from Novell now needs to be loaded. If
                 it is not already loaded, it will be autoloaded.

           
HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a temporary, empty directory on your 
hard drive.  The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable 
with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.

2. From the download directory, execute the SoftPaq.  When executed,
it will  build a 1.44MB floppy diskette containing the CPQCPM Agents.

3. To install on a Netware server, type the following at the console
prompt :

LOAD A:CPMSETUP

with the floppy inserted in the A: drive of the server. Follow the
onscreen instructions to install CPQCPM.
