DESCRIPTION:  This softpaq contains the utilities for the installation and use of the Compaq 192 Fax Modem User's Guide and Compaq Modem Advisor Software.  This utility is only supported on the Compaq 192 PCMCIA Fax Modem.
Note:  The Compaq 192 Fax Modem requires the use of the Compaq 192 Device Drivers for Windows 3.1 diskette, available in Softpaq SP1288.


HOW TO USE:

1.  Obtain 1 formatted 1.44 MB diskette.

2.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is SP1287.EXE.

3.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:
SP1287 [ENTER]
You will be prompted to place the formatted 1.44 MB diskette into a diskette drive to create the diskette.

4.  After the diskettes are created, you may delete the downloaded file SP1287.EXE if you wish.

5.  To install from the Program Manager or Tabworks, select File, Run.  Type A:\CPQINST  and press the Enter key.
