DESCRIPTION: This is a ROMPaq for an Elite 05/19/95 System ROM.  It is a patch ROM and is derived from the 05/18/95 System ROM.  It resolves the following issue:

When the system times out into hibernation with a PCMCIA modem card already inserted and configured, the PCMCIA card will not be recognized or configured when resuming from hibernation.

HOW TO USE:

1.  Obtain a formatted 1.44 MB diskette.

2.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is SP1278.EXE.

3.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:
SP1278 [ENTER]
You will be prompted to place the formatted 1.44 MB diskette into a diskette drive to create diskette.

4.  After the diskette is created, you may delete the downloaded file SP1278.EXE if you wish.

5.  Make sure the Elite is connected to AC power and boot from the ROMPaq diskette.

6.  Follow the instructions of the ROMPaq utility to re-program the ROM to the 05/19/95 version.
