SYSTEM CONFIGURATION:  OS/2 Warp v3.0 on LTE Elite using floppy

DESCRIPTION:  When using OS/2 Warp v3.0 on an LTE Elite, an error can occur while using the floppy diskette drive.  The error can also occur on other devices attached to the LTE.  The common error message will be 'Sector not Found'.  No amount of retries will resolve the error.

To correct this, follow the instructions below to copy IBM1FLPY.ADD to your OS2\BOOT directory.

HOW TO USE:  

1.  Download the SoftPaq to an empty directory on your hard drive and change to that directory.  If downloaded in zipped format (.ZIP), unzip the file to create an executable:  PKUNZIP SP1276

2.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:  SP1276 [ENTER]
The following files should be created: 
IBM1FLPY.ADD
SP1276.DOC

3. Copy IBM1FLPY.ADD to your OS2\BOOT directory.

4. Restart OS/2 to use the new IBM1FLPY.ADD driver.
