DESCRIPTION: This is a modem driver update for the specific Presario desktop 
models listed above containing a PC-Tel HSP56 MicroModem.  The update 
corrects the problem where the driver was accidentally removed from the 
device manager under certain conditions.

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive.
   The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename
   based on the SoftPaq Number above.

2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions.

3. After the file have been unpacked, you may delete the self-extracting
   file downloaded in step 1.

4. To install, log off of any active modem/fax connections, 
   execute HSP56fix.EXE and follow on-screen instructions.  Restart the 
   computer.
