DESCRIPTION:  The Compaq Extended Feature Supplement 2.0.1 for SCO UNIX is a collection of device drivers to provide maximum performance with Compaq hardware.  EFS 2.0.1 also includes several utilities to monitor and increase the performance of your Compaq server.

HOW TO USE: 

IMPORTANT: DO NOT TURN OFF POWER TO THE SYSTEM WHILE PERFORMING THIS PROCEDURE!

Follow these steps to create the five (5) EFS 2.0.1 diskettes:

1.  Download the SoftPaq to an empty directory and change to that directory.

2.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file to unbind the primary files:  SP1272 [ENTER]
    The following files should be created: 
        EFS201._01
        EFS201._02
        EFS201._03
        EFS201._04
        EFS201._05
        QRST.EXE
        SP1272.DOC

3.  Obtain 5 DOS formatted 1.44 MB diskettes
IMPORTANT: Only 1.44 MB, DOS formatted diskettes can be used, other types of media cannot be substituted.

4.  Follow the further instructions in SP1272.DOC to create the diskettes by executing the QRST.EXE program and then read all information in the README.EFS file on the documentation diskette before installing the EFS.
