DESCRIPTION:  
This is the IDE CD ROM driver for both the Compaq dual speed and quad speed IDE CD ROM drives. This driver corrects a problem with running Hyperglot Language CDs and problems running certain CDs by Dataware.

HOW TO USE:

1.  Obtain 1 formatted 1.44 MB diskette.

2.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is SP1265.EXE.

3.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:
    SP1265 [ENTER]
You will be prompted to place the formatted 1.44 MB diskette into a diskette drive to create the diskette.

4.  After the diskette is created, you may delete the downloaded file SP1265.EXE if you wish.

5.  Close Windows.

6.  From the DOS prompt type A:CPQINST <Enter> to install the driver.

7.  Press <CTRL><ALT><DEL> to reboot the computer once installation is complete.
