DESCRIPTION:  This release provides updated system ROM images
for the latest maintenance releases of Proliant 1200, 1600, 
3000, and 5500 server products.


 New Features -

        ROM E39  ProLiant 3000/5500 (12/07/1999)
        =========================================

        A change was made to fix a problem for the 3200 array controllers.
        The fix expands memory available to the array controller.
		
        A change was made to fix a problem caused by a DPT array controller.	
        The fix expands the amount of memory allocated to a pci device from 128MB to 512Mb.
		
        Properly handle floppy calls with invalid input parameters.  Fixes a problem with 
        Compaq's SCSI card based on the Adaptec ASIC.

HOW TO USE:

1.  Obtain a formatted 1.44 MB diskette.

2.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory.
The file that is downloaded is SP12531.EXE.

3.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:
SP12531 [ENTER]
You will be prompted to place the formatted 1.44 MB diskette into a diskette drive to
create diskette.

4.  After the diskette is created, you may delete the downloaded file
SP12531.EXE if you wish.

5.  Refer to README.1ST on the diskette for instructions on installing and using the
software.
