SYSTEM CONFIGURATION:  PCNTN3.SYS driver installed from previous NT Support Software Diskette (NT SSD 1.14).

DESCRIPTION:  PCNTN3.SYS (dated 05-15-95) has been modified to correct a problem where the Compaq Integrated NetFlex Controller driver (PCNTN3.SYS) is not functioning properly with the AppleTalk protocol for Macintosh Services for Microsoft Windows NT Version 3.5.
 
 Previous to this fix, all Macintosh workstations in the EtherTalk network cannot comminicate with the installed NT 3.5 server when the Compaq Integrated NetFlex driver is chosen and installed.

HOW TO USE:

1.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is SP1228.EXE.

2.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:
SP1228 [ENTER]
The following files should be created:
PCNTN3.SYS 
SETUP.CMD 
CPQDISP.EXE 
VER_INFO.EXE 
README.TXT

3.  After the files are created, you may delete the downloaded file SP1228.EXE if you wish.

4. Please read README.TXT before installing this new driver using the SETUP.CMD command file.  Installation must occur from a DOS Command Prompt within Windows NT.
