DESCRIPTION:  Corrects the issue where, after cold booting the computer, the Compaq ISA Token Ring board is not configured correctly (ie. Net Speed set to 4Mb instead of the desired 16Mb).  This software makes sure that the EEPROM is read correctly during power up.  Versions for DOS or OS/2 systems are provided.

HOW TO USE:  

1.  Download the SoftPaq to an empty directory on your hard drive and change to that directory.  If downloaded in zipped format (.ZIP), unzip the file to create an executable:  PKUNZIP SP1222

2.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:  SP1222 [ENTER]
The following files should be created: 
TOKENCHK.EXE 
TOKENCHK.OS2
TOKENCHK.DOC 

3.  To install the software, refer to TOKENCHK.DOC.
