DESCRIPTION:  

This softpaq contains the utilities for LAN Adapter Installation and 
Diagnostics for the IBM Auto 16/4 Token-Ring ISA Adapter. With LANAID, 
you can configure the adapter to suit your needs, install the device 
drivers needed for your system,  and Quick Test the adapter.

This is one part of the 4 disk set of drivers/documentation for the
16/4 Token Ring adapter. The remaining diskettes are:

HOW TO USE:

1.  Obtain 1 formatted 1.44 MB diskette.

2.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to 
    that directory.  The file that is downloaded is SP1218.EXE.

3.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:
    SP1218 [ENTER]
    You will be prompted to place the formatted 1.44 MB diskette into a 
    diskette drive to create the diskette.

4.  After the diskettes are created, you may delete the downloaded file 
    SP1218.EXE if you wish.

5.  Place the diskette in the a:\ drive and reboot the PC and follow the on
    screen directions.
