DESCRIPTION: This is a Softpaq creates a 1.44MB diskette containing the Compaq IDE Setup Utility, Version 1.00 Rev. A, for secondary IDE controller support.

The following files are included on the diskette:
A:\README.TXT
A:\IDESETUP.EXE
A:\SP1183.DOC

HOW TO USE:

1.  Obtain a formatted 1.44 MB diskette.

2.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is SP1183.EXE.

3.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:
SP1183 [ENTER]
You will be prompted to place the formatted 1.44 MB diskette into a diskette drive to create the diskette.
The following files should be created on the diskette:
A:\README.TXT
A:\IDESETUP.EXE
A:\SP1183.DOC

4.  After the diskette is created, you may delete the downloaded file SP1183.EXE if you wish.

5. To execute IDESETUP, type:
A:\IDESETUP (and press ENTER)
