DESCRIPTION:  Fix a problem with certain PCI video controllers hanging during POST prior to video coming up. This is a problem with the VGA cards not being able to handle the bursting which the Compaq Triflex/PCI controller performs. One card which failed was the Matrox Marvell II Multimedia.

HOW TO USE:  

1.  After downloading the SoftPaq, copy it to an empty directory on your hard drive and change to that directory.  If downloaded in zipped format (.ZIP), unzip the file to create an executable:  PKUNZIP SP1181

2.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file to unbind the primary files:  SP1181 [ENTER]
The following files should be created: 
QRST5.EXE
ROMPAQ._01
README.TXT

3.  Obtain a formatted 1.44 MB diskette.

4.  To create the diskette and install the software, refer to README.TXT.
