DESCRIPTION:  The PPP Configuration Utility for SCO UNIX is a utility that will help a System Administrator configure the Point to Point Protocol (PPP) for use with Compaq Insight Management agents.  This utility is only a tool to help the Administrator configure PPP for SCO UNIX, and is not necessary to make PPP function.

HOW TO USE:  

1.  After downloading the SoftPaq, copy it to an empty directory on your hard drive and change to that directory.  If downloaded in zipped format (.ZIP), unzip the file to create an executable:  PKUNZIP SP1176

2.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file to unbind the primary files:  SP1176 [ENTER]
The following files should be created: 
QRST.EXE
SCOPPP._01
SP1176.DOC

3.  Obtain a formatted 1.44 MB diskette.

4.  To create the diskette and install the software, refer to SP1176.DOC.
