DESCRIPTION:  Unpacks files that are used with the Presario models
mentioned above to upgrade the drivers in the integrated modem.
The new driver version is 2.1.2.134.  
This modem is known as a Rockwell or Conextant Modem

Enhancements/Fixes
 In this version:
  - Improves V.90 performance 
  - Improves V.90 connections to US Robotics Total Control Modem Banks
  - Improves performance when playing Quake and Quake 2 over the Internet

 In previous version (2.1.2.120.1):
  - Corrects errors in connect rate messages when connected to a V.90 modem at 
    the Internet Service Provider (ISP)
  - Fixes Windows 98 issue that causes computer to lock up when an incoming call
    is received when no communications applications are running

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq file SP11741.EXE to a directory on your hard drive.
    Example: Clicking on the softpaq file will prompt you to either "save to disk" or "run from this location"
                    Choose to save to disk where you can select a directory.  Any directory will do as long as you
                    remember where you saved it.

2. Save your documents and exit your applications. 

3. Execute SP11741.EXE.  The application will start and prompt you if you wish to install the Conextant Modem Drivers.  Answer yes.  Then agree to the license agreement.

Note: Sometimes you may have to delete the current modems from device manager.  Then, DO NOT RESTART.
Before you restart, execute this sofpaq which will install the modem, otherwise, the modem will be added
with the old driver when you restart.
