DESCRIPTION: KBSPEED resolves an anomaly with the Compaq Elite Family, Contura 400 Family, and Aero Family of computers.  These computers do not retain their typematic settings after standby.  KBSPEED will allow restoration of the typematic settings on the above products after both standby and hibernation.

HOW TO USE:  

1.  After downloading the SoftPaq, copy it to an empty directory on your hard drive and change to that directory.  If downloaded in zipped format (.ZIP), unzip the file to create an executable:  PKUNZIP SP1125

2.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file to unbind the primary files:  SP1125 [ENTER]
The following files should be created: 
KBSPEED.EXE 
KBSPEED.DOC
