DESCRIPTION:
The Intel PRO/100+ NIC Drivers support the Intel PRO/100+ Management Adapter 
as well as the Compaq legacy NICs such NC3121 and Compaq 10/100 for 
Windows NT 4.0 and Windows NT 3.51.

This Version 3.12 driver set is being re-released to add support for PC98 Compliance, 
by replacing the E100b.cat file. The driver files themselves have not changed from
the original release around June 30 of this same SoftPaq number.

ENHANCEMENTS/FIXES: 
 - Adds support for the new Intel PRO/100+ Management Adapter as well as the 
   legacy Compaq Intel NICs. 
 - Adds support for Alert-On-LAN technology, which is used only on the Deskpro 
   models with the Intel 810 or future chipset
 - Adds support for Compaq System Software Manager (SSM) and Insight Manager LC.

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive.
The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename
based on the SoftPaq Number above.

2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions.

3. After the files have been unpacked, you may delete the self-extracting
file downloaded in step 1.

4. To install, refer to Info Folder. To update your NIC Drivers, refer to ntupdate.txt file.
