SYSTEM CONFIGURATION:  Any product configured with a Pentium processor  with the FPU flaw.

DESCRIPTION:  This device driver effectively disables the Pentium FPU under OS/2 v2.11 and OS/2 Warp v3.0 if it detects a flawed FPU. When this happens applications are redirected to use software emulation. This driver will not work under OS/2 for SMP v2.11.

HOW TO USE:

1.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is SP1091.EXE.

2.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:
SP1091 [ENTER]
The following files will be created:
586NPX.SYS
586NPX.DDP
README.1ST

3.  After the diskette is created, you may delete the downloaded file SP1091.EXE if you wish.

4. Follow the instructions in the README.1ST file for installation.
