DESCRIPTION: Creates a ROMPaq diskette that allows a user to update the
System ROM in a Compaq Professional Workstation AP200 to the 04/30/99 version.
The diskette also contains foreign language modules that can be used to
flash foreign language strings into the system ROM for use in F10 Setup.

Enhancements/Fixes:

- Features new microcode patches for the Pentium III and Celeron processors.
- Corrects a condition where the system may fail to find USB hubs or high speed USB keyboards.
- Corrects a timing condition that caused the system BIOS to not find some USB devices that
were connected through a Compaq V1000 USB hub.
- Corrects a slow boot condition with newer CD-ROM drives that have drive shadowing, a new
ATAPI specification. This caused longer than normal boot times.
- Corrects a condition with video option ROM's greater than 32KB that exist with other PCI
option ROM's in the system. The condition caused a video hang with certain video cards.
- Corrects a condition with the IBM X.25 card when present with a PCI card featuring an option
ROM that resulted in an error from the card's diagnostic program.
- Corrects a condition that was causing the system to hang when warm booted if a Powerstorm
  300 video card was installed.
- Corrects a condition in F10 Setup for selecting the primary VGA card when two video cards are
  installed.
- Added DMI table update to allow maximum memory as 768 MB and maximum processor speed as 600
  Mhz.
- Added fixes for the Matrox LE video capture card.

HOW TO USE:

and follow the on-screen instructions. You will be prompted to
insert the formatted diskette in a drive to create the diskette.

SoftPaq file downloaded in step 2.

5. Keeping the newly created diskette in the A: drive, cycle
system power to boot from the ROMPaq diskette.
