DESCRIPTION: This SoftPaq creates the files necessary for an Over the Wire Upgrade on all models of the Compaq TaskSmart Servers (C2000R, C1500R, C1200R). This service pack will update the TaskSmart C-Series software to Version 1.2 (Build 1.2.76A).     

Enhancements/Fixes: This upgrade fixes the following issues as well as several minor bugs:  

An issue was corrected wherein the TaskSmart slowed down in operation when the cache became full.  The cause was that the TaskSmart policy for cache replacement was biased too far toward trying to preserve existing cache. The ICS now monitors the replacement policy and if conditions that would cause the slow-down occur the replacement policy is made more aggressive by stages to prevent the slow-down.

An issue was resolved where the TaskSmart Server stopped taking traffic after being overrun with traffic many times more than the ICS box was rated for. TaskSmart provides for peaks of traffic to provide optimal operation characteristics for the owner of the TaskSmart but cannot survive continual streams of high traffic. The TaskSmart will now refuse connections when the box is not capable of servicing the traffic load and emit an SNMP alert advising the administrator of the overrun condition.

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive.
The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename 
based on the SoftPaq Number above.

2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions. 
The following 4 files will be extracted:
	Readme.txt
	SP1p1.txt
	SP1p1.zip
	SP1p2.txt
	SP1p2.zip
		
3. After the files have been unpacked, you may delete the self-extracting file 
downloaded in step 1.

4. For installation instructions, refer to Readme.txt in the newly created directory.  

5. After the installation is completed, you may delete the files unpacked in step 2.
