DESCRIPTION:  Unpacks the files needed to install Compaq Insight Manager XE
              Version 1.1

Enhancements/Fixes from Version 1.0:
   - Added Microsoft Database Engine (MSDE) support.
   - Added support for more SNMP traps.
   - Added support for identifying more device types.
   - Bug fixes.


HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change
   to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is a self-extracting
   executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.

2. From that drive and directory, execute the downloaded file.  It
   will unpack the files, and run 'install.bat'.  This will present
   a menu similar to the following:

     1 - View "Preview and Preparation Guide"
     2 - View "Release Notes"
     3 - Install Compaq Insight Manager XE 1.1
     e - Exit menu

3. It is recommended that you view the "Preview and Preparation Guide"
   and the "release notes" before selecting to install Compaq 
   Insight Manager XE 1.1.   The "Preview and Preparation Guide" is 
   in .pdf format and requires Adobe Acrobat Reader for viewing.

4. After the installation files have been created, you may delete the
   self-extracting file downloaded in step 1.

6. After a successful installation, you may delete the files unpacked
   in step 2 if you wish.
