        Corrected a problem where the F10 access to the
        System Partition would not allow the system firmware
        to be upgraded when run from the System Configuration
        Utility menu.

        Corrected a problem where memory above 8GB would
        not be cached properly.


        ROM P42  ProLiant 8500 (10/11/1999)
        ===================================

        Corrected a problem where the F10 access to the
        System Partition would not allow the system firmware
        to be upgraded when run from the System Configuration
        Utility menu.

        Corrected a problem where memory above 8GB would
        not be cached properly.



HOW TO USE:

1.  Obtain a formatted 1.44 MB diskette.

2.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory.
The file that is downloaded is SP10680.EXE.

3.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:
SP10680 [ENTER]
You will be prompted to place the formatted 1.44 MB diskette into a diskette drive to
create diskette.

4.  After the diskette is created, you may delete the downloaded file
SP10680.EXE if you wish.

5.  Refer to README.TXT on the diskette for instructions on installing and using the
software.
