DESCRIPTION: Compaq is providing this Softpaq as a tool to determine if your particular environment might be affected by the Intel Pentium floating point flaw. The utilities within the Softpaq are used to identify if applications may be at risk with respect to floating point instructions. It is best for customers to thoroughly check their installed business critical applications to make sure that these applications do not use the affected Intel Pentium floating point instructions.
HOW TO USE:
1. After downloading the SoftPaq, copy it to an empty directory and change to that directory.
If downloaded in zipped format (.ZIP), unzip the file to create an executable: PKUNZIP SP1067
2. From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file to unbind the primary files: SP1067 [ENTER]

3. To install the Compaq Floating Point Softpaq for Windows NT using the SETUP.CMD command file, follow the instructions in the README.TXT file within the Softpaq.
