    Prior to installing the agents, ensure that the proper drivers are
    installed. Windows 2000 drivers are available for download at:

    Microsoft Windows 2000 and Compaq support software are in the process
    of being finalized. If you encounter any issues while running the
    Compaq Management software on Microsoft Windows 2000, please report
    the issue via the Compaq Support Forum, http://esnet.wins.compaq.com/.

DESCRIPTION:  Unpacks the files needed to install the Compaq Storage Agents
              for Microsoft Windows NT.

Enhancements/Fixes:

   Support was added for the following SCSI controllers:
      Compaq CR3500 RAID controller
      Compaq Wide Ultra3 SCSI Adapter
      Compaq StorageWorks Library Adapter

   Microsoft Windows 2000 Management Support Information
      Support NOT included in this release:
        IDE Devices
        Fibre Channel attached tape drives

      To remove a hot plug SCSI or Fibre Channel or Drive Array controller:
        Stop the Compaq Management Agents by typing the following at a
        command prompt: Net Stop SNMP /y

        After the controller is removed or replaced restart the Compaq
        Management Agents by typing the following at a command prompt:
          Net Start CpqWebMgmt


HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change
   to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is a self-extracting
   executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.

2. From that drive and directory, execute the downloaded file
   and follow the on-screen instructions to unpack the files.
   The number of files to be created and total file size is displayed.
   You will be given the chance to specify the target directory for
   the files, or default to the download directory.

3. After the files have been created, you may delete the
   self-extracting file downloaded in step 1.

4. For installation instructions, refer to the README.TXT in the
   created directory.

5. After a successful installation, you may delete the files unpacked
   in step 2 if you wish.
